This is a term coined to identify things like jiggling breasts, cleavage shots, panty shots, bra shots, closeup shots of women's breast, legs, butt, etc., and mild nudity all for the purposes of "servicing" the audience and having no relevance to the plot or characters of a series. The term has a second meaning covering things like massive action sequences, explosions, fights, etc., but it mostly refers to the first meaning.

In 2122 A.D., Earth is at war with aliens called W.O.R.M. ("Weapon of Raid Machines"), swarms of minute beings that can form monster-sized beings. The war leaves the population of Earth decimated, with young men being the main casualties. The W.O.R.M. were beaten back but their re-emergence heralds the creation of a mecha unit called the Sonic Divers, piloted by three girls (each of them 16 years old) to counter this threat. These pilots-to-be will have to learn military drill, how to pilot their flying exoskeletons named "Sky Divers", and - how to fight in real battle. |

Simon lives in the ground. All his people live in a giant cave and Simon does his job of digging holes to help expand that cave. One day while digging, Simon finds a glowing pendant in the shape of a drill. Kamina is the local rebel. Having been to the 'surface', he is trying many different ways to get back to the surface and find his father. One day the top of the dome cracks and a giant robot comes down and starts destroying the village. A girl named Yoko shows up from the surface too and does battle but it is to no avail. So Simon takes Kamina and Yoko down to where he found the pendant and locates a mini robot there (basically a giant head). All of a sudden his pendant glows and it appears that the robot has a hole in it's control panel the size of that pendant.... | |
