OVA: (Type) OVA = Original Video Animation. These are the direct-to-video anime titles done in Japan. Often, OVAs can start a franchise (Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki), start a TV series (Mahou Tsukai Tai!), be a sequel to a TV series (Love Hina Again), or be a stand-alone title (Aa! Megami-sama! OVA). Kazuto and his betrothed, the child-princess Valkyrie, are back on earth tending their bathhouse. And somehow no less than five of the eight Royal Vahallan Princesses have also followed them back and now are living or vacationing nearby. The sudden and unannounced arrival of Inaruba, the terrifying Goddess of Judgment, has all of Vahallans very afraid. She has come to see her-son-in-law, Kazuto, and to announce that he and Valkyrie are to wed in three months time. But before that date, there are certain formalities and trials that will need to overcome. |
