Mecha: (Story/Location) This is a genre of anime which features mechanical fighting machines. Often these take the form of giant robots but this isn't the only form mecha can take. There are tons of examples of mecha titles considering the popularity of the series.
Swordplay: (Story/Location) A subcategory of "Action". This is about the art or skill of wielding a sword, esp. in fencing. Entries in this category should contain the use of swords to a large extent in scenes.

Using a technology developed by Dr Sanada Mio, which she calls the 'G-On', certain young students wearing glasses (hence the "G" in the title) are able to harness their strong feelings and manifest those abilities and weapons that prove effective against the alien attacking units. In 2122 A.D., Earth is at war with aliens called W.O.R.M. ("Weapon of Raid Machines"), swarms of minute beings that can form monster-sized beings.
