Self-explanatory. High school (grades 10-12) should play a major role in the title. Azumanga Daioh is an excellent example of this category. A typical High school series will include a Sports Festival, a Cultural Festival, and a school Trip.

As the second sequel to the original series Memories off 2nd, this prequel story introduces us to Shougu-kun, a popular high school student who hangs out at the Cubic coffee shop. And when a very attractive Hibiki-chan decides to try to get closer to Shougu, she is told by the other girls that Neo-chan already has a (romantic) claim on that boy. While Neo and Shougu are close and very friendly, the sudden appearance of Shougu's old girl friend, Kanata, appears to cause some trouble between the two friends. Shougu finds himself remembering a fun and romantic past with Kanata that was ended very abruptly and without a clear closure.

Akari, Hiroyuki, and the others return for another year of school. Hiroyuki is a bit depressed as this is their 3rd (and final) school year. Multi-chan is gone, but when she returns, she's not the same as she used to be. Her memories of a year ago have been locked and no one can access them. Can her old friends cause her to remember again? How will Akari-san deal with Hiroyuki spending so much time with and devotion to Multi-chan? Will one of the other girls in the class confess to Hiroyuki? Will someone else confess to Akari-san?
