Quantcast

Romance/Drama/Action/War Titles

Action: Lots of shooting, explosions, and the like. Contains subcategories of more specific types such as Gun-Action, Martial Arts, and Swordplay; see also: Fighting.

Titles of this category should cover the events of a war as significant element of the storyline (even if the actual conflict doesn't get that much airtime). The opponents should be nations at least (alien races, star systems, parallel universes etc. are fine as well); conflicts between smaller organisations would rather be categorized as "fighting".
An example for a real-world war would be Hotaru no Haka, a fantasy war would be Lodoss Tou Senki (OAV), a SF war would be Saishu Heiki Kanojo.

Rent In the distant future, humankind has left earth and spread over vast areas of the galactic universe, with hundreds of planets and many different empires and alliances. One of the most powerful factions is the "Humankind Abh Empire", an alliance between the normal humans and the genetically modified 'Abh', who have adapted to a continuous life in space. But they find themselves to be very perplexed in having to deal with four different planetary leadership claimants. The planet of a backwater prison planet, with a group of wardens (or guards) supervising three different penal districts.
