Hungry Heart - Wild Striker
Troubled by being compared to his athletic older brother, Kyosuke Kano decides to give up not only on soccer, but also on all school sports. Now aged 16 and in his first year of high school, Kyosuke somehow finds himself being the training coach to the girl’s soccer club. The experience reawakens his love for the sport and he decides to start playing again by joining his high school’s boys soccer club. Kyosuke’s natural ability and enthusiasm quickly make him a starter on the team, as his team begins train and strive for the high school championships.

Whistle
Whistle! is based on a popular manga under the same title published on weekly "Shounen Jump" by Daisuke Higuchi. It was made into anime to celebrate 2002 FIFA World Cup which will be co-hosted by Japan and Korea. The story focuses on Sho Kazamatsuri, one of the best junior highschool soccer player. The theme of the anime is youth, friendship, a hero who try hard without giving up his dream to be the best soccer player and his team mates.
