Continuing the story some two years after the incident with Nemu, Asakura Jun'ichi is living alone in the old house and is still very troubled by the past. But he is well looked after by all of the girls at school. The cute Shirakawa Kotori has been very supportive during this time and the two have a close warm friendship, so much so that the others tease him by calling Kotori his ‘wife’. But Kotori is troubled by at just how ‘safe’ he is, and she wonders why they can not seem to get closer, enough to become a couple. And then on one dark and rainy night, a strange girl named Aishia staggers up to Jun'ichi’s house asking for assistance. She is looking for the Jun'ichi’s very magical grandmother, only to learn that she has moved away. But with a quick smile, she approaches Jun'ichi, asking if he could become her mentor in her magic studies. |

Having just graduated from college, Kagura Tatsumi’s new job with a small publishing company has forced him to move to sleepy little village on the coast. While driving his moving truck through the town, he is suddenly surprised by two girls chasing each other through the air on brooms, which causes an accident. While Tatsumi tends to the younger girl who was dazed, the other girl just flys off without a word. Later at his new lodging house, he surprised to meet Asaba (Agnes) Ureshiko, the older girl who was riding a broom. Despite appearances, Ureshiko proves herself to be a very kind host, even if she is a bit of a klutz, as she helps him move into his new room. It is Tatsumi’s kindness and his work that very quickly involve him with the mysteries surrounding Ureshiko-san; of how she is married but lives alone with her Obaa-chan; how another mahou shoujo is challenging Ureshiko-san for control of the village; how cute and flirtatious Ureshiko-san is, and how she does not behave as if she were married. |

In the Land of Clow, a teenaged Syaoran returns from archaeology dig where he is working. He is greeted by his old childhood friend, Princess Sakura. Sakura wants to confess her feelings for Syaoran, but gets interrupted before doing so. Later, she meets Syaoran at the ruins where her latent powers become active and wings (tsubasa) appear as a mysterious person attempts to kidnap her. Syaoran prevents Sakura from being taken, but now Sakura is unconscious and her memories appear to be gone. She will die unless she can get help from the time-space witch Yuuko. The priest-mage Yukito sends Syaoran across space and time to another universe where Yuuko resides on Earth in Japan (this Earth is where Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura resides). There, they not only meet Yuuko, but also Kurogane, a powerful ninja who was sent there by Princess Tomoyo from her universe to learn the true meaning of strength. And finally they meet Fai, a powerful mage and creator of Chii in his world. He's on the run from a sleeping ruler named Ashura. |
