Kawaii/Action Comedy/1995 Titles

#
Kawaii: (↗kawaii (可愛い) = "cute" or "adorable") If you've watched anime in Japanese, you've heard characters use the term 'kawaii'. So if the title makes you want to say that (often using ↗chibi characters, i. e. small and super-deformed), then it fits.

Action Comedy: (Genre) Much like "Action" (lots of shooting, explosions, and the like) except it has "Comedy" thrown in as well.

Chou Kuse ni Narisou Avoid See Chou! Kuse ni Narisou

Chou! Kuse ni Narisou
Avoid It's about Shiratori/Ootori Nagisa, a martial artist/idol singer. Just for laughs she decides she wants to go to a public junior high school. In order to remain incognito she hacks off her pink hair, dresses in a boy's uniform and assumes a false last name. She joins a gang at school and falls in love with a high school boy (Nosaka Akira) who is a martial artist himself. Nagisa is a very cheerful character, and very handy in a fight. Between her boyfriend, her career and her dad's dojo she has way too much to do; she usually sleeps through class, unless the class is rioting or ninjas come to the school to attack one of her classmates or robbers attack the school and hold the class hostage or she is being harassed by a music instructor with a crush on her who thinks Nagisa is a female impersonator...

Galaxy Fraulein Yuna Watch See Ginga Ojousama Densetsu Yuna

Ginga Ojousama Densetsu Yuna
Watch Start with Yuna, Savior of the Light, Galaxy Defender, a the number one fan of TV (and real life) superhero Polylina. Add Yuna's friend Yuri, an android with an astonishing appetite. Multiply by Misaki, the new girl in class, who is actually a spy of the Galactic Council, sent to assess a charge that Yuna is trying to take over the galaxy. Divide by the spinster Fraulein D, who is using Misaki as a pawn in a larger scheme to put Yuna, Yuri, the mechanical sprite Elner, and the slow-talking Shiori out of commission so that she can take over the galaxy. Confused? Then we won't factor in the cooking contest, the lost puppy, Fraulein D's hench-women, or any of the other girls who help Yuna save the universe.
