This is a sub-genre of the romantic-comedy genre. To qualify, you have to have a single, dateless, nice guy who suddenly finds himself surrounded by a bunch of hot girls/women who are interested or attracted to him to varying degrees. The male lead may also live with many of these girls.
This is a term coined to identify things like jiggling breasts, cleavage shots, panty shots, bra shots, closeup shots of women's breast, legs, butt, etc., and mild nudity all for the purposes of "servicing" the audience and having no relevance to the plot or characters of a series. The term has a second meaning covering things like massive action sequences, explosions, fights, etc., but it mostly refers to the first meaning.
Action Comedy: Much like ACTION (Lots of shooting, explosions, and the like) except it has comedy thrown in as well.

Suguru is a young man with problems many others his age just might kill to have. An orphan, he lives on his own, but his housekeeping skills are so poor that it's becoming painfully obvious that he needs help. Enter Mahoro, an incredibly cute 19 year old who offers to be Suguru's maid. Possessing some superhuman abilities and claiming to be an android, Mahoro elicits some suspicion from Suguru's friends and causes him some grief, but he can't say no to a girl who looks like her and cleans so well. Unfortunately, Suguru has no idea that Mahoro is scheduled to live for only another 398 days and has some secret reasons for choosing him as an employer. |
