Mecha: (Story/Location) This is a genre of anime which features mechanical fighting machines. Often these take the form of giant robots but this isn't the only form mecha can take. There are tons of examples of mecha titles considering the popularity of the series.

With the discovery of Inflation Holes (something like wormholes) in the 24th century, humans can now travel the galaxy. Suzuo Sakurazaki just moved to Tokyo from the country. With no job and no money he is sad. Tanpopo is an alien that works for a Toy company that manufactures super suits. He needs a job, and she needs a tester. They meet up and both needs are settled. Suzuo tries out the suit and becomes the super man Dokkoida who is there to save the day. While out on a mission Tanpopo discovers that another rival toy company has also decided on Earth to test out their super suit and has found the Asaka (Nerloid Girl), a girl who the suit fits very snugly. To hide from them Tanpopo puts up Suzuo in a small apartment building. Little do they know but their next door neighbor is Asaka! |

Juden-chan is the name given to a group of special girls who use Electricity to cheer up suicidal people in an alternate dimension. Plug (our heroine) has a device that can tell her people's level of depression (A being worst, F being happiest). Since they are from a different dimension, she can fly, pass through things, and pull magic plugs out of power pole transformers. Plug tries her best but encounters a boy who can both see and touch her (usually with a baseball bat). Unfortunately for Plug, his sister is her assignment and she has to get past him to 'charge' her up. (Source: ADB) |
