Mysteriously their grandfather invites them over for a "birthday party" and gives them a gift which brings out new powers. Now suddenly the entire Mikage family wants Aya killed since "she will bring them nothing but harm." Aki is no longer allowed to see Aya. Along with that, an ancient legend of a Tennyo (girl from the heavens) is said to have come down to Earth and bathed in a river. A nearby fisherman spotted her and stole her hagoromo (feathered robe) that was hanging on a tree nearby. Without it she could not return to her home in the heavens, and was forced to marry the man and have his children. |

Tasuke-kun, an ordinary teenager who while living alone, finds himself in the company of two cute Shugotten (spirits) who have taken it upon themselves to ‘protect’ him. In addition to living with the two spirits, Ruuan (the wood spirit) has somehow become his homeroom teacher at middle school and Shaorin (a spirit of the moon) is now a fellow student in his homeroom class. If only to complicate the situation, most of Tasuke's classmates have set their romantic interests on either him or his spirit companions. And then his father sends him a special gift from China, which included a magic fan with yet another spirit. But Tasuke has always harbored special feelings for Shaorin and slowly their friendship grows amidst the strange magic and chaos of their lives. . |

Young boy Amon has mysterious powers. His dad is the cheif scientist for the Empire of the Golden Snake. He's invented weapons for this country in the past, but does not want his boy's powers to be used for destruction so he burns his research and tries to escape the country with his family. The mom and dad die in the escape and only Amon is left. He runs from the military, ends up on an island where he learns about the ancient people who could fly on the wind and talk to animals (as he can). Amon then ends up in a fishermen's village and makes friends with Maria. After this village is attacked by the Golden Snake army, the two run away with a band of rebels. Together, they try to stop the Empire of the Golden Snake from destroying and conquering everything. |
