Goh Saruwatari is the pilot of the robot Dannar. 5 years ago during a battle that destroyed his partner, Go saves a young 12 year old girl Anna Aoi. Fast Forward 5 years later. Anna Aoi is the top robot training pilot in her school. Beautiful and skilled, she easily defeats all her opponents. She leaves the school early for a secret mission. She is getting married to Go! Right before she and Go say their final vows, an old enemy/friend shows up and Go gets called away to battle. During the battle the church that Anna is in gets destroyed.
