Action Drama: (Genre) Much like "Action" (lots of shooting, explosions, and the like) except it has "Drama" thrown in as well.
Violent: (Objectionable Content) Titles that include as an important part of their content excessive displays of cruelty, blood and gore. Any of the classical 'slasher' films would qualify for this keyword. The series Black Lagoon would be a good example; as many of its chapters involve killer lolis, chainsaw mercenaries and flying body parts.
Modern: (Setting) These are titles which have a modern feel to them; the story takes place in the present day (of the creation of this anime), give or take a few years.

In the Kanto Plain of Japan, high schools in the area are little more than fronts for what appear to be nothing more than gangs who all wear a strange earring. Within these schools, students fight to be the top-rated fighters in order to represent their school at the very unofficial Great Fighter's Tournament. However, what appears to be nothing more than thugs fighting street battles is in reality ancient Chinese history coming back to replay itself in modern times with students having names of various warriors from that time. |

He retains his skills as a brilliant detective, however, and since that incident has managed to become adopted by his former girlfriend and her less-than-exemplary private detective father. With them he carries on his passion, and searches for clues to a possible antidote to the poison he was forced to swallow. |
