Negi Springfield is a 10-year old graduate of a magic academy in England. His first assignment in the real world is to Japan and to an all-girls school (jr. high and high school) where he will teach 2nd-year junior high English. However, since his class is supposed to be full of normal girls, Negi is not supposed to let them know. One of Negi-sensei's students, Kagurazaka Asuna, discovers his secret and attempts to use it to her advantage since the idea of a 10-year old boy teaching does not amuse her. However, things happen and soon Asuna finds that she must aid Negi, especially when things live vampire mages and more are around. Also, young Sensei Negi Springfield is searching for clues as to the disappearance of his father,the 1000 Master, a great Magister who disappeared mysteriously many years ago.
