On his first day at his new school, he meets a beautiful second-year female student named Minamoto Chizuru who wants to be his close friend. Later she asks him to meet her alone in the music room. When he arrives, she reveals that she is in fact a Kitsune (wiki) or a fox deity and that she is in love with him. But she is not alone in her feelings for Kouta.
