All Ages/Kawaii Titles

#
All Ages: (Target Group) Pretty self-explanatory. This title should be safe for people of any age to watch. ↗Rated "G" stuff.

Kawaii: (Style) (↗kawaii (可愛い) = "cute" or "adorable") If you've watched anime in Japanese, you've heard characters use the term 'kawaii'. So if the title makes you want to say that (often using ↗chibi characters, i. e. small and super-deformed), then it fits.

Follow the daily life of Binchou-tan, a chibi-sized girl who lives alone in an isolated, old house in the mountains. While she may be poor (the house she lives in has holes in the roof and is very old, she has an old sheet with a hole in it, and doesn't own many possessions), Binchou-tan lives life to the fullest. She gets up, gathers what she needs from the nearby fields, and pays for transportation from various animals with seeds, accorns, etc. Rice is the only thing Binchou-tan cannot provide for herself, so whenever she needs a fresh supply, she must travel to the nearby (1930's-style) village to do odd jobs in order to obtain rice. This is the a look at Binchou-tan's life on a day-to-day basis and that of her friends.

Kururu, Chiriri, Hororo, & Sarara are known as Bottle Fairies as each has a bottle representing their color (which the fairies also show in their eyes). Kururu is blue (image, top left), Chiriri is yellow (image, bottom right), Hororo is green (image, bottom left), and Sarara is red (image, top right). They live in a nice, western-styled cottage with a man they call Sensei-san. Next door lives Tama-chan, a young grade school girl. Saga is a normal school girl living in Europe. She has everything planned down to the smallest details for her daily life and she works very hard (in addition to being very musical). Her friends love her for this and her self-appointed rival Greta does not. Things are fine until one day on the way home, Saga discovers something small, ultra cute, and very hungry -- the apprentice snow fairy named Sugar. Humans normally can't see fairies but in this case Saga can. Having fed the hungry fairy, Sugar has attached herself to Saga like a lost puppy. And when Sugar's friends and fellow apprentices Salt and Pepper join the scene to look for the elusive "Twinkles", what's a girl to do?

Saga is now 17 and the Hammond Theater Troupe is coming back to town. When she comes home one day, her grandma finds a dress of Saga's from when she was in grade school and played a princess in a school play. She played the princess while rival Greta played a wicked witch. This play inspired Sugar-tachi to make a play of their own. Will Saga get over her stage fright?

Chou! Kuse ni Narisou
Avoid It's about Shiratori/Ootori Nagisa, a martial artist/idol singer. Just for laughs she decides she wants to go to a public junior high school. In order to remain incognito she hacks off her pink hair, dresses in a boy's uniform and assumes a false last name. She joins a gang at school and falls in love with a high school boy (Nosaka Akira) who is a martial artist himself. Nagisa is a very cheerful character, and very handy in a fight. Between her boyfriend, her career and her dad's dojo she has way too much to do; she usually sleeps through class, unless the class is rioting or ninjas come to the school to attack one of her classmates or robbers attack the school and hold the class hostage or she is being harassed by a music instructor with a crush on her who thinks Nagisa is a female impersonator...

Tooru Honda is a 16-year old girl living in a tent in the nearby mountain woods. Her father died when she was very young and her mother had just recently died in a car accident. Not wanting to put her grandfather (on her father's side) out while his house is being renovated, she told him she would stay with friends so no one knows she's living in a tent. In the meantime, she goes to school and works her part-time job on a cleaning crew so that she can pay her high school tuition (in Japan, high school is like college in the US).
