This is a genre of anime which features mechanical fighting machines. Often these take the form of giant robots but this isn't the only form mecha can take. There are tons of examples of mecha titles considering the popularity of the series. Blue Gender, Shin Seiki Evangelion, Tenkuu no Escaflowne, and Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 are all classic mecha titles.

One of the STEPPENWOLF team, Soma Toru finds himself forcibly recruited into FLAK as an anti-hacking 'diver'. While working for the ‘otherside’, Toru still harbors strong resentments at those who killed Yuuya.
