Adventure/Magic/War Titles

Titles of this category should cover the events of a war as significant element of the storyline (even if the actual conflict doesn't get that much airtime). The opponents should be nations at least (alien races, star systems, parallel universes etc. are fine as well); conflicts between smaller organisations would rather be categorized as "fighting".
An example for a real-world war would be Hotaru no Haka, a fantasy war would be Lodoss Tou Senki (OAV), a SF war would be Saishu Heiki Kanojo.

On her search for help Sophie ends up living in the moving castle of the infamous wizard Howl, together with his apprentice boy Marker, fire demon Calucipher, and the living scarecrow Turnip Head. And with time she is getting more and more dragged into a conflict of powerful wizards and a dreadful war. Will Sophie be able to break her curse, and what about the other inhabitants of this castle?

Five years after the "War of Heroes" (from the OAV prequel's episodes 1-8, or better yet, manga series "The Grey Witch") Lodoss is still in chaos. Ashram, a hero from the defeated Marmo empire, is in search of the scepter of power (the most powerful magic item that remained from the ancient magic kingdom Kastuul) which would now allow him to conquer Lodoss.
