A young boastful pirate named Cloud manages to open a large treasure chest just acquired on their last raid, and awakens a beautiful young girl. It is only later when treasure hunters and ninja raiders attack the pirate airship does he learn that her name is Edell Raid, one of the seven Shickikou Houju treasures, and that she is not human. In a desperate struggle, he is brave enough to fight a loosing battle to protect her from the raiders. Despite her strong dislike of humans, she is moved by his feelings and declares her acceptance of him. As summer break arrives for the students, Jun Sakurada is busily studying on his own in the library, making up for time lost while he had confined himself to his home. Meanwhile, his Rozen Maiden doll, Shinku, has been having troubling dreams of late. The pain and sadness of defeating Suigintou was overwhelming, despite the inevitable battle they waged. After waking suddenly from a nightmare, she finds Suigintou's companion spirit wandering; upon giving chase, she discovers that the seventh Doll-- Barasuishou-- has awakened. She now realizes that Suigintou's fate may very well befall the other Dolls, for the appearance of the last Doll signals the beginning of the end of the Alice Games. |

Kai and Gerda are very dear friends who have been living together since young. However, one wintry day, the Snow Queen appears stirring up snow and wind, and a sliver of mirror gets lodged into Kai`s heart. Kai drives Gerda away in tears and the Snow Queen takes Kai away to her realm. The adults try to dissuade Gerda from pursuing Kai, saying that he is already dead. But determined to find Kai, Gerda set off on her own journey which is filled with trials and tribulations. |
