This is a term coined to identify things like jiggling breasts, cleavage shots, panty shots, bra shots, closeup shots of women's breast, legs, butt, etc., and mild nudity all for the purposes of "servicing" the audience and having no relevance to the plot or characters of a series. The term has a second meaning covering things like massive action sequences, explosions, fights, etc., but it mostly refers to the first meaning.
Older anime titles, from the 80's back. What the actual amount of time that has to expire must be is unknown to me, but as a rule of thumb, a title should at least be 10-years old. Lupin III is an example of a classic title.

After Ataru's mother, Moroboshi-san, recaps the first 21 episodes of Urusei Yatsura, Ataru and his class go on a field trip to visit historical places in Japan (Golden Temple and more). A kunoichi (female ninja) named Kaede accidently loses a secret document and her master demands she find it. As it happens, Ataru discovers is, thus Kaede must pursue him in order to gain the scroll. Because she's so nice, she doesn't just take it from him. As such, Ataru assumes she has feelings for him. Unfortunately for him, Lum-chan has rented a school uniform and has been tagging along to make sure he doesn't stray. Will Kaede regain the scroll? Will Ataru kiss Kaede? Will anyone survive Lum-chan? |
