In an alternate reality, the world is occupied by two countries, the Roxcheanouk Union, or "Roxche", and The United Kingdom of Bezel and Iltoi, or "Sous-Beil". Wil, a teenage citizen of Sous-Beil, is enjoying his summer when his old friend Allison, now a pilot with the Sous-Beil Air Force, pays him a visit. The two run into an old man who is notorious for telling long tales to whoever will listen. Despite their skepticism, they become intrigued by his story of a hidden treasure. This museum allows the visitor to use high-tech virtual reality to reconstruct a realistic Edo of the Bakumatsu period. However, once the simulation begins, Tokidoki is attacked by a strange creature. After something happens to his left eye, he realizes that he is not wearing the VR goggles - it is no longer a simulation; he's trapped in the virtual world and has no way of getting back. |
