Kabaykawa Sena has always been looked after by Mamori-neechan (his older sister) and with her help, he was able to pass the entrance exam for the high school that she is currenlty attending. Being smaller in size, Sena has always been bullied by other students and his new school is no different. One day, while trying to escape from three school bullies, he shows an incredible ability in running and dodging through a crowd, which is noticed by one of his fellow schoolmates. Sena finds himself forcibly recruited to play on the high school’s (American) football team as a running back. Not wanting to loose a player of his ability to another school, the team decides to hide his identity, demanding that he participate as a mystery player, and give him a nickname of “Eyeshield 21”. |
