Fan Service: (Objectionable Content) This is a term coined to identify things like jiggling breasts, cleavage shots, panty shots, bra shots, closeup shots of women's breast, legs, butt, etc., and mild nudity all for the purposes of "servicing" the audience. The term has a second meaning covering things like massive action sequences, explosions, fights, etc., but it mostly refers to the first meaning.
Bishoujo: (Characters) (↗bishoujo = "beautiful girl") Typically refers to shows based off of sexually explicit computer games.
Middle School: (Story/Location) Self-explanatory. Middle School (grades 7-9) should play a major role in the title. Related categories: "Elementary School", "High School", "College".
Lolicon: (Objectionable Content) (↗roricon (ロリコン) = short for "Lolita complex") This is the Japanese term for an attraction to underage girls (usually 7-16 in age though I suppose all underage girls could qualify depending on how they are "built"), the reverse of "Shotacon". This attraction is usually by older men, but can also involve older women as well. Negi Springfield is a 10-year old graduate of a magic academy in England. His first assignment in the real world is to Japan and to an all-girls school (jr. high and high school) where he will teach 2nd-year junior high English. However, since his class is supposed to be full of normal girls, Negi is not supposed to let them know. One of Negi-sensei's students, Kagurazaka Asuna, discovers his secret and attempts to use it to her advantage since the idea of a 10-year old boy teaching does not amuse her. However, things happen and soon Asuna finds that she must aid Negi, especially when things live vampire mages and more are around. Also, young Sensei Negi Springfield is searching for clues as to the disappearance of his father,the 1000 Master, a great Magister who disappeared mysteriously many years ago. |
