Self-explanatory. Series who's primary focus is fighting would fit into this segment. Yu Yu Hakusho and Ranma 1/2 are classified as fighting series. But if you can, then please select a more specific keyword instead, such as "Gun-Action" or "Swordplay"; maybe some day we'll completely split up this category into some more terms of this sort.

Kurosaki Ichigo is not your ordinary 15 year old, because he has always had the ability to see and interact with those spirits and ghosts that remained behind and are hidden to ordinary people. And one fateful day, a female Shinigami (soul reaper) named Kuchiki Rukia appears before him as she is hunting for an evil spirit. During the confrontation with the daemon, both Ichigo and Rukia are seriously injured, and Rukia has to transfer her powers to Ichigo to assist him in defeating the evil Hollow. But in doing so, she loses all of her power and she now expects Ichigo to continue in her task of fighting and defeating those fallen spirits whom she calls Hollows, who exist only to devour other innocent souls. |

Ai Mori is UFO hunter. While hunting for aliens at her school she observes a classmate Kousuke Ueki creating trees from his hands. Thinking she finally found an alien what she does find instead is that her teacher (Kobiyasha Sensei) is really a god and Ueki is his Junior High Student disciple. Up in the world of gods there is a contest, to see who will be the next ruler of Heaven (The current ruler just wants to party) and Kobiyasha is a candidate (of 138). The rules? Find a Junior High student and give them one special skill or power to turn one thing into another. Have them battle the other 137 students to see who's best (Knockout wins). The student who wins will be allowed the skill of (null) which allows them to pick any 1 skill they want. The god candidate then becomes the next ruler of heaven. The catch? If you use your power to harm any bystanders you will lose a skill that you normally have (like Running or Studying or 'Talking to Girls' hehe) or if your god candidate interferes, you lose your power and the god candidate is out of the race. When Kobiyasha asks Ueki what skill he wants to have (Water into Fire, Cloth into Steel, Rocks in bombs), he picks Trash into Trees. | |
