In the year 2142, the survivors of the devastated earth have retreated to an isolated high-tech colony called “ECOBAN”. But their continued survival is dependent on the efforts of the “diggers” - those 2nd class citizens who harvest the critical energy supplies, while struggling to survive in the squalor and the pollution outside of the city. At a time when dwindling energy reserves and rebellious strike activity of the diggers have raised tensions to a boiling point, an ECOBAN police officer finds herself fighting an intruder who has managed to sneak into the very heart of the city’s computer core. Officer Jay is shocked to discover that the intruder is Shua, her childhood friend and someone who died some ten years ago.
