Himuro Hikaru is short under-appreciated high school, who is not good at anything; at least until he introduced to the computer-generated-combat game called Dragon Drive. Together with his dragon combat partner is Chibi, a small pathetic white dragon, they show surprising ability and courage in desperate situations, as they struggle to find victory and glory in this surreal combat game. Togeather, they learn to be more competent and assured in their own abilities and each other.
