Lupin breaks into a very large mansion after finding flyers advertising his previously unlaid plans. Inspector Zenigata is waiting for him with a large group of police, but a large band of killers crashes the party. Zenigata is shot by a former parter of Lupin's with Lupin's own gun. Now Lupin must track down the assassin to an island filled with assassins and other such characters. Lupin finds his life now on the line but there's also gold to be had on this island. Can he get out with the goods or will he be marked for life?

Lina and Naga are back and this time in a town that speciallizes in selling magic-run golems. But two men are fighting for control of the town, the ugly Lord Granion and the ugly Lord Hizen (and yes, the term "Lord" is used in the Japanese).

With the defeat of the Mazoku lords Gaav and Phibrizzo, the barrier surrounding the land for the last 1000 years has dropped. As such, new lands await to be explored anew. A miko named Filia has a job for Lina in the new lands and promises a big reward. However, Filia is not all that she seems and further complicating matters is the arival of Xellos on the new lands. There, the group discovers Gaav's aid Valgaav, a former ancient dragon turned Mazoku, who wants Lina dead for killing Gaav by summoning the dark loard Darkstar from his universe to destroy everyone in Lina's universe. But is he the true foe or not? Is the kami (god) race any different from the Mazoku? Will Lina get paid and be able to face her older sister?

Miyuki and Natsumi are partners on a suburb of Tokyo's police force (Bokuto precinct). Together with fellow officers bike patrolman Ken Nakajima (who has a mutual crush with Miyuki), Aoi Futaba (the transvestite), and Yoriko Nikaido (the good-hearted but busybody cop with glasses), this force attempts to keep the streets safe from criminals.
